Mount Rushmore of most overrated players by this board.
God Bless him but he isn't even in the top 25 LSU receivers since 2000

Big loss.

16 catches 200 yards 1 TD is a "big loss"

So as of now, JD looks to be the starter unless he is somehow beat out. JD isn't good at spreading the wealth like Burrow and Mettenberger. Why waste remaining eligibility to be a run blocker at LSU, like Trey Quinn. Go somewhere that distributes the ball better. I'm really surprised Boutte is coming back unless BK hinted to him that the QB is going to be different next year.
Burrow had 402 completions in 2019. Only 5 players had more than 17 catches. Only 3 of those players were WRs. In 2018 6 players had at least 20 catches, but only one had more than 23. Mett in 2013 had only THREE people with at least 18 catches. Nobody else had more than 7. If you weren't Odell, Jarvis or Jeremy, your targets were nonexistent.
This year 7 players have at least 21 catches with 5 having at least 27 catches and 3 having at least 33. Hilton only played in 4 games and he had 7.

Whats the common denominator in all those players you listed?
All went to nfl and were good players.

I hate to see this but it's probably best for him. He was awesome as a freshman, but not so much this year, even accounting for health (and I don't think he was ever right this year tbh).
The drops and fumbles, and emergence of Taylor at TE, got him buried in the WR rotation.
He seems like a nice young man and I wish him the best in the future.
