And nothing as impressive as the Alabama win, so what's your point?

My point is that it does matter if you play down to the competition and obviously James, Smith and Herbstreit agree with me

This is what makes determining the NCAA's football champion (or BCS' if you want to get picky)like scoring figure skating competitions. It's very subjective, and impressions from outside the arena of competition are given weight, such as "body of work" and initial standings based on prior years' performance.

yet 2 weeks ago he had a raging hard-on for TCU after they beat up a grossly over-rated Utah team. Smith said "TCU is the most complete team in the country."

Everyone was thinking the same thing after that week. The next week we found out Utah was not all that and everyone changed their mind. Can't fault him for that.

I am not at all impressed by mid majors propping each other up. It is insanely retarded.

What infuriates me is the fact that they continue to bring up the tenn game as relevant, but completely gloss over vtech losing to james madison when talking about boise st. They say "well if they played again, vtech would win that game." Well, if lsu and tenn played again, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't come down to an untimed down due to a def penalty
