Maybe the whole point of donating to a collective is to benefit the NIL for the athletes & not the people who donate.

Why not both? Nobody likes giving away their money without some incentive…I don’t give a crap if a player gets money to buy some rims.

Whoever that’s in charge really lacks imagination on the benefits of donating. How about a credit for concessions at athletic events? How about including swag instead of credits to a store? Who fricking cares about the cash back when you don’t live in LA?

I feel like everything LSU is always halfassed compared to everywhere else.

Look at the grove collective and look at the amount of tiers and the benefits of each. That’s all I’m trying to say.

That’s not all you’re trying to say.
You started off with 3 ridiculous questions instead of asking why aren’t there additional tiers.

Our monthly membership ($20/$50/$100) & benefits are very similar to the grove’s first three tiers.

In addition, they have a $125/month that includes a signed poster & tailgate passes
$208/month gets you a quarter zip.
$416/month gets you a meeting with an ole miss athlete (meh)
$833/month gets you a “pregame breakdown” whatever that is.
$1250/month gets you a VIP reception

Then they have a $30k & $50k/yr tier.

Let’s be real - how many of your typical LSU fans are willing to donate $5-10k/year for some extra perks?

Bayou Traditions is set up for a typical fan who is willing to give $20-100/month.

That's Louisiana in general, but suggesting otherwise leads to people being irrationally defensive instead of having conversations around what can be done to improve.

Hell, i've been trying to get a few business owners here in FL together for some NIL deals for LSU players and it's met with BS.

you think these questions are ridiculous?

If you cap the limit at $100, that's what people will donate. IF there are options between 20-500/month, some will donate more than 100.

but you're right, the collective is fine and needs no improvements.

Because Bayou Traditions has no affiliation with TAF & concessions. I still don’t understand how it’s so confusing to some of you.

I'm pretty sure that 50% of the people screaming about NIL ruining college football don't understand at all how NIL works.

Yes & I explained why on page 1

Or maybe they don’t see a whole lot of value in adding another tier when they hardly have anyone doing $100/month.

I guarantee no one is signing up to give $3k/yr to get an invite to a tailgate. They give you an option to make a one-time contribution for the people who really care about the NIL program.

riiiight, that’s why I said they could improve their member benefits

People like feeling like they are actually making a difference. Take TAF for example. a small donation and you get access to the pre-game events in the PMAC, a little decal or whatever.

The big donors are the ones who are ego driven and do it for their pride.

My business has zero affiliation with any restaurant in town, but I can chose to work with those businesses to offer a referral award to my customers that is mutually beneficial to both parties. Your whole argument revolves around an arbitrary $20 dollar amount which I never mentioned at all.

You have to create value to get the fanbase engaged, the current collective could do a much better job of that.

Is there a more sketchy website/program than this natty club/bayou traditions thing? I signed up a few months ago but can't figure out on their website how to do anything. I can't find my card info, can't find what i've donated, can't find how to cancel. It's been a pretty shitty experience. I'm trying to cancel because there's no transparency but there's no way to cancel or even delete my credit card info.

If I give $20, I need to see something back. Like some Burrow autographs.

these collectives are nothing but a money suck that enrich the people that run the collective. Why wouldn't the best players hire agents to work out real endorsement deals instead of the 'collective'.

I have done the 20$ for the past 2 or 3 months. It feels like giving money to a homeless person. Don’t feel good about; feels like a big money laundering scheme and nothing to show for it

Whomever runs that needs to step it up. I join becaused i wanted to do my part, cant complain of you arent trying to help . I took a few weeks for them to draft my donation (might be an end of the month thing). The site is difficult to navigate. No idea what the monthly giveaways are and the status of those giveways. They can be more creative from top to bottom with that whole Bayou Traditions programs
