Where do you buy stuff and know it’s not fake? Looking to start buying a few things a year and start a collection, there are so many websites out there though. Is there any in particular y’all use? Thanks in advance!

If you're in BR, AJ's Sports Cards on Drusilla and Cards And Culture (owned by Anthony Ranaudo) would be places to start.

Don’t touch Mercari for signed stuff. Fake crap everywhere.

Beckett has an online authentication system where they can tell you if it’s a fake or not. Send them a screenshot but it costs $10, so only do it if you see something you REALLY want that isn’t authenticated.

When it comes to fakes, I focus on sports cards. Typically, only the biggest names are targeted, like Shaq, Joe Burrow (especially), Ja'Marr Chase, and Justin Jefferson from LSU — guys who made it big outside of LSU. Even Mathieu and Peterson aren’t really faked — only the big money guys. For those types of big time players, ONLY buy cards authenticated by a reputable grading company like PSA or Beckett—they’ll be in slabs with labels. If it’s not authenticated, avoid it.

The only exception is sticker autographs. You can rest assured those are real, graded or not, it’ll say so on the back of the card.

Lesser-known players like Josh Reed, Michael Clayton, or Warren Morris usually don’t have fakes, especially if signed directly on the card. They aren’t in demand.

Check the seller’s history to see if they’re reputable, too.

Check out Pro Dreams. Pretty sure they have a store front in Covington. Also set up near Mike’s enclosure for just about every home game. Dude gets some really good shite.

Don't buy anything Daniels or Burrow unless it has Fanatics certificate with it.
