we can't even keep the son of an LSU Associate AD, former LSU player and will undoubtedly also lose his brother in 2023 who is a 5 star. Something ain't right!

All the talk of north Louisiana being the recruiting issue for LSU, yet BR seems to be the most difficult area to get commitments. What’s the deal? Alabama’s LB core the past 3-4 years is a key example
Smart kids realize that it will NOT be a great place to live & raise their kids in La. after their college years are done.
* No major companies have HQ here (even some La. brands have their HQs elsewhere)
* terrible crime
* terrible insurance rates
* TERRIBLE public schools
* terrible infrastructure (I.e., traffic!)
* many of their friends move out of state
* public officials / govt. does NOTHING to improve La. vs other southern states
Face it, many kids who are in BR lab/ private/ magnet schools, don’t just say “ I’m staying home b/c of my family, LSU sports, Saints games, hunting/fishing, getting employed by petro-chem plants & Mardi Gras”
