Didn’t watch (yet)
Will look forward to see how they come back from a humbling experience like these last two games.

I was at all three games this weekend. We played an elite FSU team to the wire. We were simply too young to know how to close it out. That happens even to special teams this early.
Today we were sleepy. The gym was half empty. Not an excuse, but it took us a while to get off the bus.
The game came down to one thing. We couldn’t get the lid off the basket. We were atrocious shooting the ball. Will didn’t adjust well to that. IMHO but nothing he could have done would have changed the result when you can’t hit a shot.
For people demanding a better offense and not street ball, please become a Princeton fan. Every elite basketball program plays this way now. It’s the evolution of the game.
This is a young team. They looked like a mess for one game. However, they will likely be a Sweet 16 team. For any fan to jump off the bandwagon right now is ludicrous.

When J. Jones was hired, A.D.,Joe Aleeva made it clear to the committee that he didn't want Tony Bennett, the current VA coach. He really wanted the LSU job. If he were the coach, I think the Maravich Assembly would need more seats.Tony Bennett considered the best defensive coach in college basketball, and one who won't break NCAA rules. His mover-blocker motion offense is also praised as elite and efficient. The style of basketball he teaches has been compared to a boa constrictor choking out opponents, and his teams are known for their unselfish play, defense-first philosophy, and tempo control.
Bennett is the first coach to win 17 ACC games in a season, one of three in ACC history to achieve back-to-back 30-win seasons, and a three-time ACC Coach of the Year. His Cavaliers won ACC Tournaments in 2014 and in 2018, and won outright ACC regular season titles in 2014, 2015, and 2018. Bennett holds the school records for single-season wins at both Virginia and Washington State. He is the only living three-time winner of the Henry Iba Award for national coach of the year (only the late John Wooden won more) and a two-time winner of similar honors from Naismith and the AP. Despite such recognitions, he tends to eschew interviews and media attention. At best, Joe Aleeva's judgement is suspect.

eams looks like it is going backwards in playing teams, what's up with Wade
maybe LSU is playing better teams.
Personally, I hope the team gets better towards the start of the SEC season itself. Wade has some work to do with those young players, but he has plenty of time between now and the start of the SEC conference season to do it.

Wade needs to start showing some real improvement with the team or there should be questions about his hire.

Thanks for reminding me why I avoid this place.
See you in March, sunshine.
