Good defense my arse. LSU has the most stagnant fricking offense I've ever seen. Entry to the wing. Stand and watch, stand and watch, get it back out deep. Back to wing, try to force into post, turn and get back on defense.

wasn't teddy the ref years ago that gave Bobby Knight a technical for checking on his player injured while play was on other side of floor?

no idea but teddy has been notorious for years trying to make himself the center of attention in games with ridiculously controversial calls. oddly enough he seems to coach in big games more than any other sec referee. everyone in the league hates him. sad that i knw the name of a college basketball referee

Flat out - both teams defend, but Bama got more easy shots. I also think we were called for more fouls, or at least it is even

A lot of bad happened. We weren't able to get anyone open for shots and we gave up too many offensive rebounds.
We need to take care of the ball and get some decent shots. We can't score 19 in a half and be in a good place. We will need an output around 30-40 to have even a chance and thats if we play tough defense.

fwiw...even foul calls are usually a sign of bad officiating at some point in the game.It means the refs are trying to even up calls so it doesn't stand out. LSU has been on good side of this before..tonight..been on bad side of it so far. Hopefully second calls they don't call leaning/moving/flop charges , remember to call moving screens, and call walks as they happen...not just to show that their calls were "even"

If you see Ted Valentine roll up in an LSU game, you're getting ready to see one of two things:
- an LSU loss
- an unbelievable performance by an LSU player
