I'm not saying we win out. I'm not saying we come close to the 'ship. But I see the arse end of the schedule and think we're still in good shape.

Did anyone honestly expect us to win this today? Jesus. Y'all are acting like we're getting blown out by nicholls. We've had a really shitty first half of the sec schedule but the back end is pretty much all winnable games.
I expected to not look like clowns. UGA didn't look this bad against UK on Tuesday they're pretty shitty.

UVA and Flotida aren't exceptional teams and if LSU was better coached both of those games were very winnable by this squad.

We played well in the first half. Kentucky is shooting lights out. The second half has been disappointing but we're better than we've been playing this half.

Yea but what I'm saying it's not unprecedented for LSU to fire a coach this early. I think they'll give Trent he rest of the season though.

But the goal should be more than just to win easy games. The goal should include being competitive next year.
Do you honestly think they will be?

Am I alone?
Nope, this team isn't nearly improved enough to keep him at this point. Going to take a ridiculous finish if he is to be retained.
Be careful though, you'll probably get slammed.

So if we go 8-8, that's not acceptable to you, because of the order the games were won in?

Why would he get slammed? It seems like only the people who want to see how he finishes the season get slammed. The majority want him gone now.

What does everyone expect?
A team that shows improvement in ball handling, shot selection, blocking out, ball movement, and a growing basketball IQ
something TJ has not taught our players-

I really didn't think we'd put up 50 pts today. I was almost right.

8-8? We are 2-5, it'll take a miracle to get to 8-8. You can say the schedule ends pretty easy, but we aren't getting any better here...

Hell I have no idea about next year. And yeh, we shouldn't win only easy games. But I don't think it's time to panic when you are losing only hard games. We've won impressively, lost impressively, and lost embarrassingly. I'd rather get blown out today than lose another close one. Not sure why...just kind of feel like getting blown out by the number 1 team can build more want than losing a close one to them.
