Hell, why not just go Independent and play 12 cupcakes and go undefeated. Then we'll make the playoff every year - how great!!!!
We're in the top football conference, making a ton of money, and have several high level games every year, and multiple other good ones. That's what makes the season fun to watch - games against top opponents that will be close and dramatic. If we do well, then we're deserving of the playoffs. If not - then we're out. But at least the season was filled with great games and drama.
You can keep your cupcake wins - I want none of that.

Indeed great post. It is the College Football Playoff...not the SEC plus a couple others Playoff. What is so hard to understand here?
