I'm all about Ziegler at the plate. Haven't seen him play first though. If he can play it, I wouldnt hesitate to put him out there.

That is my point! He should be on the team and would have been better than some of the existing team. Coach Mainieri would either have to cut one of his own recruits or a player that is on the team. This year he would have to cut 4 players to get Gibbs on the team. It did not happen this year and won't happen in the future. Walk ons are a thing of the past.

One of those walk-on's hit a bomb of Jordan Brown in one of the scrimmage's. Brown has had a rough fall to say the least.

How many pitchers ar they going to keep. I think they only have 16. Ardoin was only used for lefty batters last year. His numbers werent bad until that Kentucky game. Lets not forget what happen to Colman. Had a bad soph. year and was one of our best last year.

Just my opinion, but I think Didier wins out the starting job at 1st. Kid is legit with the bat although it won't show up on the stat sheets early.
Ardoin, I think he's been given chances, however hasn't really shown that much. You never know what Mainieri's thinking.

He's a little more sporadic than the other more reliable pitchers, but he can bring the heat. Needs to develop, if I was Mainieri I'd give him a shot to prove himself.
