Again just reading between the lines, but we’ve all kinda thought Gio was CF of bust, but Johnson does not seem to be enamored with Dugas’ at bats. We know he is a below avg outfielder.

Dugas hit 295 last year
I’m guessing coach wants more
He did have the power surge but knowing Johnson he wants consistency

Drost didn't impress me in the fall. The games I watched he had a ton of K's.

Gio in LF is an interesting thought if Dugas continues to struggle. Jay has a lot of options in the outfield.

Dugas was hot & cold but he hit good pitching fairly well in the SEC
