I have never seen a weekend series where so many pitches were called strikes after the catcher reached outside of his body for the ball. Most of the time the ump gives a call off of the plate it's because the catcher set up there, and the pitcher hit the mitt.
This weekend, the catcher is setting up on the corner, reaching near the left-handers batter's box, and still gets the call.
