I just find it kind of interesting in light of the fact that you call yourself an LSU fan and you post here, yet you think the fans on this site are, in your own words, "pathetic". Are you admitting that you yourself are pathetic as well?
Kind of funny you should say that. In another thread, I saw you call a female poster I happen to tailgate with "clueless". This lady is a long time season ticket holder who NEVER misses a game. And I'd be willing to bet anything within reason that this lady has WAY more of a clue about all things LSU baseball (And maybe even baseball, in general) than you could ever HOPE to have.
I'd invite you to come tailgate with us next weekend just because I'd like to see if you're actually as pompous an arse IRL as you are behind your computer monitor. However, I won't, simply because there's a very real possibility that you are, and we have far too good of a time out there to be bothered with the likes of you.
In short, if you want to find "attacking, negative types" in a thread look no further than your own mirror. The difference is that you choose to attack your fellow fans.

Rest assured, it's not because I think the people on this board are tremendous supporters of LSU.

You mean the poster who, in hindsight, was bitching about bringing Ross out to start the 8th when in fact, Ross induced a groundball to himself to start the inning? Certainly, I defer to her greatness.

If you don't see the difference between attacking a player or coach (without a logical critique) vs. calling out an anonymous poster who partakes in said attacks then I don't know what to tell you.
I'm comfortable with my stance on the issue. I think there is an inordinant amount of people who feel hurt and wronged when the teams do not accomplish what they expect...even when we are less than a year removed from winning a freaking national championship. That you disagree with me kind of says it all, IMO.

You really should. She's very knowledgeable.
BTW, Ross committed an ERROR on that groundball. I know that's part of the game, yet another pitcher fielding theposition might have gotten the same result AND made the play. It's all hindsight. You just seem to have a problem w/ differing points of view.

Well, personally, I find the whole "Because I do X and you don't, I'm a better fan than you are" thing not only pointless and petty, but silly.
But hey, whatever helps you sleep at night, man.

Are you suggesting that his pitch count prevented him from getting the ball to Dean after the groundout?
It just gets better and better with you.

I just remembered why Godfather is taking the stance that he is. It just dawned on me that he was the one that was attacking Ross earlier this year saying that he should never see the mound again.
Now, he's just pissed that Ross is the only guy actually pitching well. You are the perfect example of what Cadello was talking about...a "fan" who would rather be right than watch LSU have success.

I already ate my crow about Ross in the "Ross Haters" thread. I'm actually quite happy for the young man, and congratulated him on a good job when I saw him this evening.
But like I said, we get it already. You're a better "fan" than everybody else here.
Whatever gets you off, dude.

No.
I'm suggesting that another pitcher in the game at the time might not have airmailed the ball over Dean's head.

...says the guy who gets off on openly criticizing the very LSU players who he follows every weekend when they don't provide him with the win that he damn well deserves.
Any middle aged man who calls out an LSU player for his performance and says things like "he should never see the mound again" is a douchebag/cocksucker.

...and so obviously Mainieri should have seen that, while Ross was good enough to induce a ground ball to the pitcher...he obviously wasn't good enough to make the play at first.
This is literally the weakest criticism of Mainieri I've ever seen.
Keep it coming.

My, my. Touchy, touchy.
Sounds like somebody's a bit pissed off at being called out for the petty little pompous arse that he is. He likes dishing it out from on high, but boy, he sure can't take it.
Good thing I declined to invite you to tailgate w/ us. You need a WAY thicker skin than YOU exhibit to hang with our crew.

Boy, you really read a lot of wild shite into things.
What part of "it's all hindsight" did you fail to comprehend?
You're not very bright, are you?

BTW, I'm splitting my sides over here watching you go all apoplectic.
You can have the last word. I know that overinflated ego of yours demands as much.
