Right, if the throw was a foot to the right or left he is safe. He makes that play and that throw maybe 3 times out of 10. He couldn't even circle the ball, all his momentum was away from second base.

I agree, that was a case of where making them make the play was the right call. It sucks the way it worked out, but it was the right call to send Dean
