great if there is lighting that means they have to wait like 30 45 min after the last strike
anyone know the official delay after lightning strikes

i don't know what that means, but it doesn't look good.
near as I can tell, oxford is about to get crushed by several giant red megphones.

OK, question for the ol timers. They announced 9:30 CDT start but it is also the cut off. If they can't play tonight and weather is predicted to be worse Saturday, which leaves Sunday, outside of a double header on Sunday, what about the third game?

It almost looks like they have lined up in some type of military formation.

I've heard people talk about or question a cut-off time but I've never seen it actually take place in an LSU game (other than Sunday travel stuff).
If they can't get a game in today or tomorrow, the third game will go bye-bye. I'm 95% sure they would just play a doubleheader with two 7-inning games on Sunday.

I was afraid you would say that.
If anyone is watching the replay of the Miss/Georgia game, they just showed some dude wearing a Santa Claus beard and hairdoo with a toga. After seeing that I do not know what the rant earlier this week about interesting people at the Box was about.

didn't something like that happen several years ago? I'm certainly not sure, but, I think the 3rd game is just dropped and the only way it's made up is if it has a bearing on the title at the end...???? Heck, looks like there might be a problem getting in 2 games this weekend....
Posted on 4/23/10 at 8:42 pm to Ole Geauxt
I'm 99.9% sure that it's not made up, even if it has a bearing on the regular season championship.

Yea, right before the streak. Georgia came back to tie us and then the game was called with the game tied due to travel.

A game not played is not made up, title or not.
