I'd be perfectly happy with the song and chant being erased. I've never cared for it, personally.

However, I do enjoy that we beat Alabama, and then you have this crusty part of the fanbase that apparently has never heard vulgar words uttered at a football game.

I'm a student, and I resent that. I personally dont give a damn about how it looks on TV. I dont think it makes us look like vulgar fools either, just creative.

You just showed how immature and stupid you are

But seriously, if anything, it adds to the atmosphere of the stadium.

Please just stop. You aren't helping yourself look any more intelligent. If you think the words suck, dick, and bitch help the atmosphere of the stadium, then you are ignorant beyond help.

Lol, nice try Roger. It might not be close but to argue that it isn't vulgar is idiotic.

Watching the CBS replay now...the chant is loud and clear - I had actually forgotten about it until I heard it.

As far as I can remember, the University hasn't said anything in regards to Neck. I honestly think they're just turning their cheek on this one. If they wanted to ban it, it would have been gone after the Tennessee game.

Nothing like having the verbal police think they can just take the student section and shut them up.

I sit in the student section, and I am coming to the realization that people will just never learn.

Owe-E-Owe would have been incredible yesterday after we took the lead in the 4th, but it was taken away because of stupidity and 2/3/4th chances.

There just isn't a reason to add this BS to the end of songs, it doesn't make the games anymore fun. the only people these chants hurt are the students

You wouldn't hear it unless you knew what the words were before hand. When you hear that song, you KNOW that the chant is in there. I've watched that replay with folks that aren't LSU fans, didn't know the song or chant, and they never noticed it.

Oh, dear! How could I ever hope to rebut such a savage wit and sound argument?

It was longer ago than I want to recall, but it seems like yesterday to me.

Seriously? This is your brilliant response? I'll just assume you are in fact full of shite and the students cursed back then. My parents are old and went to LSU, and ... gasp... they cursed. Unbelievable, right?

While you're "a student" do yourself a favor and learn the difference between creativity and stupidity.
Excuse me sir, I'm sorry if that came off as a little too serious. I know the difference between creativity and stupidity, but this isn't the 60s. This just happens to be a more contemporary way of expressing creativity. I'm sorry the world has turned into what it has mister, your an adult right? Deal with it. Do you want me to help you across the street now?

then let them hurt them. People around here aren't going to have their way with the student section, it's a fruitless struggle.

Changing the words to the songs has little do with the student section trying to be cute or funny, it really has everything with the student section giving a big middle finger to the administration by saying that you can't censor the student section, and that is the truth.

I appreciate the want for creativity, but that statement makes absolutely no sense. You can't censor the student section Roger, I'm sorry fella.

At the Auburn game it was played and "suck that tiger dick" was very clear. The Auburn fans around me asked what they were saying.

So, when they asked, what did you say?

I was talking about the television broadcast of the Alabama game, fwiw. I'm sure it was clear as day at the Auburn game.

You make my point more eloquently that I could about the type of people that would defend this crap.

Oh the irony of someone clowning another poster about their grammar or spelling, and then proceeding to use improper grammar/spelling. Nice.
