Frankly, the on-field results from Raymond had slipped a little. We were even shaky for close to half of 2019, and the issues were obvious the last two seasons. His recruiting will have to be covered by more than one person, but we can find a replacement to do as good or better job with development and on the field.

I don't know shite. Just saying nothing Kelly has done so far seems quick or impetuous, so I doubt he's making a hire for some short term gains in recruiting. Also, what exactly was Cooks going to bring to the table this cycle?

He wouldn't even hire him on his own staff at notre dame.
