Auburn is not running the spread-option. There is more passing in the Franklin version. There is still allot of running, but not so much option plays (although there is some option in the playbook).

if Burns ends up with the majority of the snaps it will be mostly spread-option...the option part referring more to the zone-read than the pitch play.

It will start by us beating LSU 6-2 in the hardest hitting most physical game in the history of college football.

I dont know if you hear but Jimbo is no longer the offensive coordinator at LSU... We will NEVER be shut out with Crowton as OC.

I don't think it will be a shut out, but I think LSU will be hardpressed to score a lot, same goes for Auburn.

There will certainly be more of the zone read if burns is the guy, but that will only be a portion of the offense not the majority.

seems to me that Burns doesn't have a grasp of the passing game...so unless they continue to rotate, I see a ton of zone reads and qb keepers in your future

The game is in Auburn....we will get the bug eyed SEC ref in that game so it will be close no matter what.

what does "inept" mean to you?

Injuries is not being inept.

1. without skill or aptitude for a particular task or assignment; maladroit

Without the players, they don't have the skill. Sounds like inept fits in this case, lol.

God I hope we beat the crap out of them. It was at least good to see us completly shut down Armanti Edwards running the ball. Granted it was against a DIAA Oline, but it still gave me some hope.
