y’all put too much emphasis on “letdown” games
frick this. We are talking about 18 to 24-year-olds who now get paid a crazy sum to play this game. Add that on top of the parity that you talk about, and it is absofrickinglutely inevitable that there are going to be letdowns.
There is no new Nick Saban out there who can coach beyond this. Cignetti is a cheap carbon copy, but about as close as you can get today. This is the new norm, and it’s not going to change. In fact, it will only get worse with nine game conference schedules and the added fatigue and injuries that come with it.

Yes, Auburn & their Coach will definitely have to contend with & face an emotional letdown!
and how do they do that? how do they prevent a letdown game from happening? they have to know it’s(letdown) coming, right? if the fans know about it surely the players and coaches know about it it too
bama just lost a their second game in a row after an emotional loss last week…was the vol game a letdown game even though they lost last week?
just because you lose doesn’t mean it was a letdown game

I’m curious to see if Baker’s defense decides to show up for the next 2 road games.
