Greetings. Myself along with 3 first time visitors are coming to LSU Auburn game. Just want to make sure i show them the best time possible. We plan on getting into town Friday mid afternoon. All in our late 20’s.
1. Restaurant Recs for Friday night. (food, atmosphere, drinks) In years past I have always went to Chimes.
2. Casino afterwards? Any laid back places with drinks and live music? Preferably not Fred’s or anything in Tigerland. Too old for that scene.
3. We plan on getting to campus in the mid morning time frame and start walking around. Band and team walking down the hill are must sees along with Mike the Tiger. Anything else I am missing?
Thanks. Looking forward to a good atmosphere. Geaux Tigahs.

Mid City Beer Garden & The Merchant are good spots for food and drinks Friday night.
The Merchant is walking distance to a couple dive bars for above college age folk (Ivars/Duvics). Also, that whole area around The Merchant should be a good atmosphere.. in the past they have had tents popped up in the parking lot with bands playing. IDK how familiar with "The overpass area" but generally there should be a lot of foot traffic/drunkards walking around that area looking for a good time.

Lots of people in their 40’s still get their swerve on in Tigerland, especially after the Auburn game

I’ve had my fair share of fun in Tigerland in the past I can assure you.
