Atmosphere in New Orleans for title game

I kinda want to drive to New Orleans from South Florida just to be there. I won’t be able to buy a ticket just wanna be with tiger fans. Is the 12 hour drive worth it, just to hang around event.

If you haven’t attended an LSU national championship game in New Orleans it definitely should be on your bucket list

Dude, I’ve went to the 03 game and was down there for 07. Well worth it! It’s crazy. In 03 there was a tiger cub on a leash on bourbon!

I was there in 07. It was definitely worth it no matter the distance. Watched it in a bar off Bourbon that was split LSU and OSU fans. Everyone was talking shite, but when the game was over they all had drinks with us. So if it's them we play I think you'll have a good time. No clue how Clemson fans are.

I’ve been here for all of them. Do yourself a favor and make a long weekend out of it. Get here Friday. Alumni groups will start buying out places to host parties by then. The weekend will have the Fan Jam stuff and pep rallies, a parade and all of those types of festivities. Then on gameday just be around the Dome. People will have TVs set up all over the place watching the game while tailgating.
