It doesn’t matter what Kelly says or doesn’t say about his putrid offense, offensive line, and if Nussmeier is injured or not. What does matter is what the opposing coaches are seeing and get paid to see. You can bluff reporters and fans but the other teams are calling Kelly’s bluff. They are playing LSU just like the fans are seeing it on the field. Nuss has no confidence and playing through the injury isn’t helping, why sign a high level backup if you refuse to use him when needed?
