arrival time for LSU vs North Texas game

Bringing the kids to first LSU game. Have not been in awhile. What time do I need to be on campus to get a free parking spot? Leaving from Houston Saturday morning.

Depends on the status of grass lots which they will announce later today. If some grass lots are closed free spots will be going quick.

If you leave Houston for no later than 8, you should be in BR for noon. You'll want the kiddies to see the campus, get the feel for the game, see Mike, etc.

If you get there for around 12-1 you should still be able to park on nichaulson. You may have a pretty good walk, but you will be able to park for free.

I'd get off the interstate at Highland Road and head to campus. This will put you headed back out in the right direction. Not sure what parking is like on that side of campus but at 12-1 you should have no problem parking.

You're not leaving Katy at 8am and arriving in Baton Rouge for noon. No way. Well maybe if you're in a Pleiadian Beamship.

No later than 1:00 if you want to get a decent parking spot. If they're old enough to throw a football, bring one to kill some time before walking around the stadium.

If you are leaving Houston Saturday morning, then you're going to have trouble finding a spot anywhere close to the stadium. Possibly there may still be some spots in the back parking lot behind U-High?
