Arkansas: Next Coach Better get a Guaranteed Contract ala JF

Whomever Arkansas hires as it's next HC, had better hire Jimbo Fisher's agent, if they want their money. Arkansas has halted paying Bret Bielema's buyout, and that doesn't bode well for recently fired Chad Morris getting the $10 million he's still owed.

Bielema buyout was halted because Ark said he got a job and didn't owe him iirc

I'm sure Bielema, will seek his day in court. How does Arkansas know for sure his agent wasn't putting out feelers to programs that he was interested in becoming their next head coach. Bielema will prevail, or reach a settlement. I doubt he cuts them a deal as Les did LSU though.

I believe its that he wasn't seeking a job that would pay him a similar amount. I.e. he was hired as an assistant or coordinator making a lot less money and wasn't actively trying to become a head coach. As if anyone would touch him as a head coach after Arkansas.
