I think more of less that it's just the game of baseball. A mediocre or worse team can come in and knock off an elite team in the mid-week at any time. We've actually been pretty spoiled lately with all our mid-week success. I can't remember a mid-week win streak longer than the one we have been on including last season.
Also, if Vandy played down to their competiton, they wouldnt have beat Mizzou this weekend 11-5, 12-1, and 16-4.

yeah Jim and them brought it up... I think during 1 of the Southern games that LSU hasn't lost a mid-week game in 2 years

I'd be willing to bet that the current mid-week win streak that we are on is the longest since Skip took over. It works wonders for the sexiness of an overall record.

So it's your board now. So LSU just playing arguably their best series against their biggest rival this past weekend....then said rival loses both at a DH one a NO HITTER is not news to some that might want to talk about it?
