I doubt either would be as successful in LSU's offense as they are in their respective offenses. Mallett and Newton were not the only bright spots against LSU, when their teams played.

What makes you believe that Crowton would drastically improve his play selection with another QB?
All of this is pure speculation. Until LSU gets another QB AND another OC, they will not be able to contend for the NC.
