Of course people wouldn't. People would be talking about wasting an opportunity to win a BCS championship. Funny how circumstances can change things.

Ole Miss plays everyone tough. OSU should schedule better opponents bc every game in the SEC in not a certain win

IF your looking for an easy win OSU you better do better than Michigan with small schools

I've always supported him, hell he's our coach, but I really began loving this guy after he said "I love this team," he said, before pausing and trying to compose himself. In a choked voice he then added, "And I will not do anything to hurt them."

that told me a lot about his character.

A good drill Sgt. teaches character to young men who need guidance. If Miles can coach this to his players then he has my vote on that alone.

I don't know that Miles has to be the one to coach it. I think he just has to insure that his assistance are hard asses and make their positions do what they are suppose to do...i think the biggest thing that falls on miles is hiring good asst coachs. So far i would have to say he's done pretty damn good!

but he is definitely in the LSU hall...and I think he probably will be the most successful coach to ever stand the sideline of Tiger stadium

That may or may not be true.

Well, he still hasn't won 60 in a row and only one NC so I'm waiting.

One clock management, if Tubby had called a timeout they might have had a chance to come back. If Meyer had called a timeout sooner the game could have been different. And Ohio St. played like they were ahead at the end of the 3rd and 4th QTR. And these are great coaches.

This really shouldn't be a thread and I'm not worried in the least bit about the folks who aren't sold on him. People, on here, seem to pay too much attention to the one's who aren't sold on him, in my opinion. frick 'em.

BamaSaint, why would you want to trade when your avatar is your hero saying I made LSU? Nah. We'll keep ours and you can keep yours.

That would be why i said "I THINK" not i "KNOW". as stated before he has already done more in three years then most coachs here have done.

But i agree this thread is pointless and if you don't like the coach pick another team...i mean for all the Saban supporters he's still coaching hopp on over to the BAMA board!

If bringing in a totally new coaching staff and winning a national title doesn't sell these idiots, why do you care about their opinions?

why do you keep assuming that anyone not totally sold on Miles is for Saban ???

In my earlier post I said...
I like Miles, I support Miles, I think he is an above average coach...I am just not yet placed him in the GREAT category or added a "halo" to him.
Has been good for LSU, absolutely ?

rbdallas: why do you think that was even directed at you? As for your question as to why i think anyone not sold on miles is thinking of Saban...well lets see not to get into the success argument with you now in football...but short of going back to Deitzel LSU has not had success under any other coach in recent history other then Saban...there for if you think miles is winnig with saban players or you have issues with the fact the guy has an SEC title, 3 10+ win seasons and a NC who are you looking to as the measuring stick for being sold on him other then Saban? it's not haulman, archer, dinardo, etc.

Congratulations to you.
I have had many connections OSU (Oklahoma State) and there were too many things that needed to be "allowed to settle".
He has been great for LSU...hope for a long time.
