I only joined LSU Atl this fall and went to the ARK game at one of the locations. It was dreadful. But it was thanksgiving, so...

This is certainly not a big LSU hotbed for obvious reasons.

Hey TTinATL, Thanksgiving has always sucked for attendance at view ins here and when I was in Dallas too. We hoped the game move to Saturday would help and it actually did at two of our four places, not so much on the others...so I assume you were at one of those locations.

FYI, last season ATL became the only out of state alumni chapter in the country that has multiple football viewing locations (four plus a group south of town that do home-based watch parties and raise funds for our scholarship endowment) other than Dallas with two locations. It's hard to staff and replicate the atmosphere we want to have every week at every place (band music, giveaways, etc.) but the LSU fans around town repeatedly told us that they wanted a choice and/or places with a closer drive home or lower taxi fare.

Overall the experiment was a success but we do need to tweak things. We will likely drop one of the two lower attended places and add a Buckhead destination for example. But we desperately need more volunteers to act as hosts and keep the energy level up.

I'd like to get more feedback from you. Email me at mike.a.tiger@gmail.com.

I am not paying to see another LSU game until Les shows he can coach or we have another coach.

No more of my money to a program that doesnt know horrible coaching when they see it.

As of right now, yes. Have a vacation scheduled the week leading up to the game, the Mon. off for Labor Day and cousins right out side ATL. with a 5 bedroom house.

GEORGIA bbq,

No kidding. Carolina 'cue has been flat out nasty almost every time I've had it. The mustard and vinegar balance is usually disgusting. I had some in Cashiers that was damn good but all the rest were an insult to perfectly good pig meat.

The pulled pork and Brunswick Stew around these parts is tasty stuff. That and fried green tomatoes are the sum total of Georgia's contributions to the culinary world. At least there's a few decent places around to get Cajun food (when I'm too busy or lazy to make it myself that is).

Okay--so message heard loud and clear--if I get BBQ for the tailgate, make it Georgia BBQ. Any other foods that people would be interested in? Right now, I'm thinking hamburgers, hot dogs, jambalaya, and some BBQ then plenty of snacks.

And it sounds like a lot of people are interested in the VIP tier of amenities, so I'll definitely keep that in mind as an option.

Hell, sell out the Blue lot outside the GWCC.

I have jumped on the non-season ticket waiting list (live in SC) but I plan to be there anyway. Call Hudsons BBQ in Lexington SC for catering and you will not be disapointed. National awards and does large, national events.

Surely, with such a soon dated and forgotten namesake, a Brian Broussard or Herb Vincent alter?
