As a whole- No, but for starting the season with a coach named Les Miles- Yes.
We should have got rid of LM last year and bring in a coach with a great OC. We study what Ole Miss, Arky and Clemson did against Bama last year (and OM/Arky this year) and we implement that style of offense, then we are good for 20-30 points- with our Defense- We win!! Simple as that
With that said, we needed a better OL than we had this year as they are soft. We needed a new strength coach to come in with the new coach but that would have taken about 2-3 years to show. I like our OL recruits for 2017 and we need to add another bruiser and that would give us 5 studs
The stars did align for 2016 however the coaching changes did not. LM was pure garbage as x/o and his meddling in the coaching caused shitty Special Teams- Now look at them!, Shitty one dim offense- Now look at them!
Since what he did 1-9-12, he should have been canned the minute the clock struck 0:00

A winning season with a chance at the sugar bowl. I'm happy. Could it have been better? It was damned well supposed to be. Less being gone makes it worth it.
