Over 2000 posts and it hasn't occurred to you that a lot of people use a lot of different favorite team symbols?

Some of us are born, bread and educated in the state of Louisiana and then move out of the state due to their career. Just sayin'

Yes, LSU grad and waivering Mizzou fan since I moved to Baton Rouge before finishing HS. Never thought it would be a SEC conflict of interest. Nevertheless, I would want LSU to skull frick MIssouri should they play... So I guess I don't really qualify.

it's relatively normal to set up shop in a different college town/area than the one you graduated from and become a legit fan...

I don't know. I worked for two diffent athletic departments after I graduated from LSU and tried to make myself actually care about those prorams. I could not.

Let's just agree that I have been a Tiger fan for over 35 years. Not sure that either one of us is "the bigger fan", but I bleed purple and gold and that's good enough for me.

I'll root for Texas most of the time. But if them losing befefits LSU in any way then I root for that. I grew up a Longhorn fan, dad and grandpa and great grandpa all went there. Grew up there and all. It is a big part of my childhood so I have an attachment to it.

I was not 'torn' at all picking between them and LSU in the CWS back in 2009. LSU all the way, rubbed it in my Dad's face pretty badly when we watched game 3 together.
