I listen to Finebaum just about everyday, purely for entertainment purposes. I will say that the reason, I believe, Finebaum is so anti-Miles is because he is a Saban nutlicker. He has a hard time giving LSU credit, because before the season he thought that we would have stumbled at least once, before this point.
He thought Oregon was going to be a loss, then we won. He thought MS State was going to be a trap, but we prevailed. He thought WV was going to be a loss, then we won....Notice a pattern?
He won't give Miles credit because he's a media bitch of Saban.

He digs on LSU/Miles because he doesn't get it. Finebaum isn't smart as a fox, even though he might think it, he is a smartass that lucked into a job where mixing his ignorant opinions and going over the top in those opinions for radio actually match the opinions of the backwoods folk.

Finebaum hates LSU. Miles is by product of Finebaum's hate toward LSU.
When Finebaum was cub reporter for the Shreveport Journal, he was assigned the LSU beat. Being a Tennessee grad, he already had a predisposition to dislike LSU. After covering LSU for one year, Finebaum was either fired or I'm sure he would say say he moved to greener pastures.
In Birmingham Finebaum discovered he was successful pampering the gumps. He's now deeply entrenched with the gumps and is head deep up Saban's butt along with another local sportscaster Rick Karle. Finebaum and Karle are great friends because they both love Saban and compromised their integrity to stay on Nicky's good side.
He predicted LSU would not get thru September without a loss and possibly multiple losses. Since that did not happen he has continually picked against LSU and it has made him look foolish. Finebaum is terrified that LSU will beat Bama and his beloved Nicky Saban.
FYI, Finebaum promotes himself as the most influencial sportscaster in the SE because his fat friend at the Orlando Sentinal wrote a article saying as much.

Who gives a shite about what Finedouche thinks anyway??? He still claims openly Miles won with Sabans recruits in 2007.When in reality those players where LSU recruits not Sabans. Most were red shirt freshman when Saban left and never played a down for him. Miles and his staff where the coaches that devolped those players and they were the only staff those those players ever truely got a chance to play for.

For any veteran posters of the rant...There was actually a thread about this.
Finebaum circa 2003-2004 put up a ranking of "Best SEC Stadiums to Watch a Game" where he had Tiger Stadium rated 7th in the conference, or something ridiculous like that. It was nothing short of a cheap shot.

If Les Miles was hired by Bama and Saban re-hired by LSU, Paul Finebaum would find flaws about Saban and assasinate his character on the air, just like he did from 2000-2004. And he would lick on Les Miles' nuts.
