I read an article that discussed it (sorry, can't remember where), and it focused on LSU trying out different cleats for different players. It never mentioned any changes in the field. It said that even linemen were slipping early in the week, but they have it figured out now. Each player knows what cleats work for him on this surface.

Damn. I think there was some discussion of vacuuming out some of the pellets to give more “grass blade” exposure.

I don’t look forward to seeing pieces of rubber flying every where whenever a player makes a cut
