LSU has made going to the actual game so exhausting that we are just gonna tailgate and watch the game from the tailgate. Anyone else doing the same?

What's the point? I can do everything I would do at a tailgate at my house. At home I have the added luxury of air conditioner, electricity, a clean toilet, and a tv. And I don't have to lug a generator around to do any of it.

I also live an hour plus away. So that makes a difference as well.

When I lived in BR there were plenty of games where I would just go down there to tailgate and then leave in time to get home and watch the game. I'd just walk off-campus a bit and have someone pick me up.

Not even regarding the testing and COVID stuff, going to a game is just exhausting sometimes.. it's not worth the hassle when it's McNeese.

ETA: Hold That Tiger 10 raises a valid point. Few years back I was down there and by 9am the porta potties were out of TP so I had to wipe my arse with a brown paper bag Don't have to worry about that at home..

Nope, but I may only be going to the game.

Got a lot of downed trees to pickup in south Lafourche.

I am. Imma spread COVID to all those vaxxed idiots going into the game you know since the “vaccines” don’t actually keep you from contracting or spreading COVID

Driving in from Houston to tailgate and attend the game!

After a 4 hour drive definitely going in the stadium even if there is a hassle to get in!
