Well last year Harvin was in the slot the whole game and usually beckwith guarded him, which was almost just as bad.

But this year they actually have some running backs so i don't think they'll line up as much 5-wide like they did last year. After watching the last two weeks I'm not nearly as scared of them as before. If we had them at home I would be fully confident, but the Swamp still scares me a little.

did you watch the Ole Miss game? their 2 back-to-back fumbles to open the second half occurred on a QB-RB exchange - not good defense

the exchange of the ball from qb to rb is careless.

my point is that they have a lot of careless turnovers- regardless of how good the defense is.

they had a fumble and int in the 4th quarter against us last year. i believe they had a critical fumble or two against auburn in the 4th last year also.

We didn't use any one guy to guard Harvin last year. Beckwith, Highsmith, Taylor, and even the corners were all used just depending on the play call and the read or whatever.

Here is a fuzzy but comprehensive highlight on youtube:

the fumble was at the end of the third quarter and led to a touchdown, and in the fourth a pass was int. when it went off a players helmet Pittman picked it off.

I thought he was hurt?

Nothing more than the usual bumps and bruises that come from an SEC matchup.

Not true, D-Mc went into Auburn not 100%, but wanted to play to try to help his defense. His ankle was still hurting, he was still in a lot of pain, but wanted to go in and do his best. If some of you think he didn't, well....you could be right, but the thing is he WAS still hurt, the trainers didn't really want to LET him play but he ASKED to play, said he would suffer through the pain so HE could go out and help the TEAM. Notice the emphasis' on certain words. Danny wanted to help, did not want to hurt the team.

While FL has put up alot of points this year, their offense is built around two players. Tebow and Harvin are very good and cause most of the defensive problems. I say let Jones lock onto Tebow and a CB on Harvin for 60 minutes. The rest of our D is good enough for the other 9 FL offensive players. And I know he is young, but I would not mind seeing Peterson being the one to lock on to Harvin. He has the ability and my gosh, what an experience it would be for his future.

Take this with a grain of salt, I give up about 40 pts/game on ncaa 09

It's a;ready been said on national TV, let the defensive line get to Tebow before he can really do any damage. LSU has the talent to do it!

Florida had yet to turn the ball over ALL SEASON until we decided to serve up 2 fumbles at our own 20 to Ole Miss.

Harvin is hurt. Anyone that watched the game could see that.

He wasn't full speed. He only managed 37 rushing & 37 passing...

I don't think that McCray will be covering Harvin. My preference for the dime would be to have P.P. and Hawhins handle the corners, and Jai covering Harvin, with C.Jones on the other slot receiver.

And you played Hawaii and Miami.

Im saying that you have turnovers at critical times. LSU and Auburn last year then Ole Miss this year.
