it depends on JJ , can he make the play . We will only run what they are JJ can handle .

that's the kind of quick play i think lsu needs to run more of. i just watched the game again and bama's d line was doing a good job of disrupting the blocking. jefferson didn't have much time to pass. that combined with his penchant for holding on to the ball too long and bama's incredible coverage made passing almost impossible.
if the offense would run quick plays, that might force the dline to switch to lane blocking schemes and help out the tiger oline.
i also noticed that lsu passed on first down only 6 times out of 15, most of those with lee at qb. i think this allowed bama to be more aggressive. clearly, miles isn't comfortable with jefferson passing on 1st. if lsu would run some misdirection or quick plays, that might change.
