Damn I’m happy for him. Had a few chances to be around him while he was at LSU. Great dude, hard worker.

BE GREAT TONE.

What better way to underscore just exactly how terrible of a coach Johnny Jones is than to have 2 NBA players on a roster and not make the postseason

Meaningless in a 30 point blowout.

I think many said he wouldn't get drafted. Either way, when Lavine gets healthy he's probably going to the G league.

Actually that roster had 3 NBA players if you count Quarterman, who made a roster his rookie year.

Except for recruiting, Jones was truly awful and it was crystal clear to see. I'll never forget his lifeless presence on the sideline with no accountability for the players lack of effort or discipline.

Think about this...

At one point, Johnny Jones had these players and couldn't make the NCAAT

Ben Simmons - All-American 1st overall pick
Antonio Blakeney - Will have a career between the NBA and G-League making hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars.
Tim Quarterman - Essentially same as Blakeney
Keith Hornsby - Career G-Leauger, but still professional basketball player
Josh Gray - Also perhaps a career G-Leaguer, but is also dominating the G-League and could potentially get some 10 day contracts.

5 players who are still playing basketball and making a living. Absolutely shocking
