And take a cycle or two lol. You just can’t compare players from the 90’s to players from today. Eddie Furniss would still be a great hitter today as he was then but his numbers wouldn’t be as great. Duplantis would be a great hitter in the 90’s just like he is today but his number would be better. The real question is does a player like Duplantis get recruited in 90’s by LSU and likewise Furniss? I think they both would but it is a question. College baseball is a different sport now than it was then.

Exactly that’s why saying you don’t wont duplantis to break Eddy’s record because he had more at bats is stupid. Both are great tigers who have given 4 years to LSU. Just enjoy it.
