Another ref thread but a situation I haven’t seen discussed yet

Besides the missed travels, ghost foul calls, unnecessary reviews, and overal horrible officiating...

What was up with the refs blowing the ball dead in the final minutes when LSU rebounded the ball and had a 5v4 going down the court since Admiral Schofield was on the ground?

The refs blew the whistle and let him casually walk down the floor which allowed Tennessee to reset. That was an absolutely horrible head scratching call to me that got no attention.

All in all, glad we got the W.

Should be like the helmet rule. If you have to stop play because you’re “hurt” then you should have to go out.

It looked like Schofield slipped on a wet spot, so the ref likely stopped it for some safety reason bullshite. But wait until the ball is coming back down that way, not when a team has a fast break away from the wet spot. Terrible job by that ref

The player slipped on the floor and it looked like he may have hurt himself in the process. Was it a right call or not? I don’t know but the call was based off of safety

Easily a legit whistle. No advantage was had, we were just walking it up. Clearly had water on the floor . Nothing to see here .
