Yo...when was the last time yalls darling QBs were leading a team with NC hopes...and they Huskies had 12 yards of offense in an ENTIRE half. OR the time when you were playing the game of the Centuryand your QB inexplicably shut their eyes and fired INTs on two consecutive throws into a coverage he in possibly never even glanced at?

i approve of this post because it shows that both aren't awesome and that we're doing the best with what we've got.

Most pathetic part of you Rudy is I only agreed with the OP. You however have gone on a PMS-laden tirade about who knows what....short answer: you are plenty defensive.

shite, they both drive you nuts.

If we thought we just wanted to make a bowl, like Husky fans, I figure we would just sing camp fire songs and hit a bong.

Actually you were all into the racial part.

So sense you know all about who is a racist and who isnt Tiger Woody go ahead and answer a question if you can.

Poster A comes on this board and says JJ is the greatest qb in LSU history and Lee sucks.

Poster B comes on and states he think Lee is better than JJ and Lee should be starting. Poster B also states Lael Collins should be starting over Will Blackwell.

Poster A then states Will should start over Lael.

Who is the racist? Neither? Both? Poster A? Poster B?

Poster A then states he thinks Will Blackwell is be

Dude,

You're an outsider so you wouldn't understand. Hell, I don't know that WE do. But being a Tiger is akin to sitting on the edge of a cliff that you're never going to leave. Half of you clings to the cliff but the other half wants to jump and get it over with. You're seldom ever happy, and when you are you wonder what's wrong with feeling like that. We're LSU. It's a sickness with the deepest lows but thankfully the highest highs. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

if only the JJ hate was equally obtuse. A for deflection effort yet still FAIL.

Scoob:

I started a thread back in March asking people for their best argument why we should be excited about LSU football this year. I can't bump the thread, but this is what you posted:

quote:

Reasons to think this is our year:
1) OOC schedule. Oregon and WVU are resume builders; Oregon has started slow a few years and game 1 is ideal to get them. WVU on the road = "premier win" if we get it, even if they are not ranked (major college team).
2) SEC schedule. Fla, Arky, Auburn at home. Bama on road with a new QB.
3) Experienced defense- especially considering Peterson had cramped up in crunch time a few times; this means our secondary will all have been on the field in tight situations already.
4) potentially potent offense- don't laugh. Ware and Ford had some quality PT last year. Ware made some outstanding plays before the bowl, too- go review the Vandy game and see his catch on the semi-deep pass up the left sidelines. Guy catches like a good tight end, not a tailback. Ford showed some serious breakaway moves at times. Randle showed he could be all-SEC despite JJ's struggles, and Shep, despite all the inconsistencies, made a number of big plays. Even QB- Mett is supposed to be good, and JJ and Lee both showed they are gritty and determined, if not great statistically. JJ will fight more than most people give him credit, and Lee came off the bench like a baseball closer a few times.
5) This year. This team knows they were not pretty, and yet went 11-2. Even with no changes to schemes, they would have to think they could at least equal last year's offensive performance and stay in games; and they've learned how to win games they stay in.
6) SEC mojo with polls- the SEC champ should be in the hunt for the BCS until further notice, regardless of what else may occur. No worrying about things you can't control; win the SEC and you're in
7) Les wins bowls. Big time. His lone loss at LSU was in a marsh against a slugger-team; on fast tracks he has his team at peak performance.
8) NOLA BCS game- LSU could beat a potentially better team in the Dome. In this case, the home field does matter.

That's my arguments on why we can win. And fwiw, I can see us losing a game and still making it (maybe Bama on the road).

That got me pumped up for this season. Nice post.

A few white and black fans, yes there is. People like you simply choose to make it the crux of your whole emotional stance on this issue.

My guess is most people don't really give a frick about either QB, but are somehow pissed at fans who support the other guy and have built some attachment to the one who they have "dissed."

Dude, we get it. You don't like his post (which was actually pretty thoughtful).

If you don't mind, go post on someone else's thread so I don't have to read your bitchin' every third post.

If you can't compete, get away from the heat. I suggest you go elsewhere. Follow your own advice.

What got us all rilled up is the first half of the Georgia game and Jeffersons poor showing! Go back to the last drive he was in in the Ark game and he threw the ball poorly that drive! But the question to ask is why where we throwing the ball at end of Ark and the start of the Georgia? With our future opponent watching the game on TV Les was attempting to send our future opponent a message that Jefferson can throw the ball on a good defense......well he can't....and u can bet our play selection come Jan 9 will be very conservative and if it's wild open with more than 14 passes then where in trouble!
