Despite a great hire (at this point) in Will Wade, is that enough to salavage the horrendous handling of the football program? Everyone keeps talking about making a change at HC, yet this is HIS hire. Just like at Duke it will be pushing the blame on everyone else.

He can hire the cream of the crop in every sport other than football and not save his job.

It should be. Guessing they will let the season play out to make decisions. Get a new ad in place before next football season and Orgeron has to win in 2018 or he is out too. Or if he losses 6 this year he can leave with Alleva at the same time.

I'd say not just Alleva but Alexander and Mari Fuentes-Martin as well...

Alleva doesn't understand or care about the fans that made Tiger Stadium what it was...LSU football is the goose that lays the golden eggs that support a lot of other things, screw that up and the money begins to dry up...

the cultural tone-deafness of the other two and the s@@@ storms they've brought to LSU needs to go...again affecting the money...

at the end of the day, it's all about the money

That money leaves if the football program goes down the crapper. Alleva will not make a move against Ed O because his job is on the line with this hire. We all knew this was a possibillity with our 'One Man Search Committee' not coming away with the guys we wanted.
