It's still a mystery to me how we ended up with him in the first place after he bungled the Duke lacrosse situation so badly.

He was in over his head at LSU and it will be more of the same at Tennessee.

The question now is does LSU go the safe and cheap route by promoting Herb or Verge, or do we try to bring in a sitting AD from another school?

Those who don't think that a good AD can make a world of difference should take a look at Florida. Jeremy Foley is hands down the best AD in the SEC, if not the country.

I am just curious as to why he makes that move. Doesn't seem like a step up at all.

To be closer to family?

We better get someone who is competent and not someone from the "Good Ole Boy" network.

This is my greatest concern.

There were some who wanted LSU to hire Doug Moreau last time out.

Just f*cking stop.

If you're joking:

It's not funny.

If you're serious:

You don't know what the f*ck your talking about.

yep...

And I'm not too worried about it, long as it's a guy who's NCAA clean.

#LSU's Tommy Moffitt one of 5 finalists for national strength coach award. Would LSU fans rather keep him or Alleva? Do I even need to ask?

It'll probably be Herb as interim. I would hope that they go for a big name for the long term.

Any guesses on who it might be?
