Thornton would get my vote over Hudson, Bridgewater, and Randolph for sure, and maybe Dupree and CT3

What a stupid comment.
Antonio Hudson?!?!?
The guy was good for one 20 point game a year. And that game would always be the 1st round of the SEC tournament in the Georgia Dome.
For some reason, he would always light it up in that building.

you quoted the wrong person. But I agree. Hud was streaky as all hell

still had a great LSU career, but if not for injuries, Randy Livingston could have been on it.

For his play, stepping up as center, in the 86 Final Four run, I put Ricky Blanton on the team. That was the most improbable run, if not in basketball tourney history, certainly in LSU Basketball history, EVER!
Also, I add Stromile Swift to the list. He was the most exciting player I have ever seen at LSU. Although, I am not quite old enough to remember watching the Pistol.

FWIW and IMO I'd take D. Mitchel over Marcus Thorton. Thorton was great, but D. Mitch was a huge reason we made our Final Four run and played his heart out for four years hitting big three's when needed. I also think he suffered a little for the team because they moved him to PG his Sr. season.
