Does anyone think before they post? Most final poll top 10 teams are 2-3 loss teams, at most. Why is there this prevailing belief that a playoff would consist of a bunch of 8-4 teams or something? Teams would still strive to win their conferences with the knowledge that NOT winning your conference leaves you little room for error, thus forcing you to seek to win as many games as possible. Teams won't tank games to rest players, they'll try to get top seeds so they can play teams like Troy in the first round.

Whats so frustrating is that it can be done without upsetting the current bowl structure.

Who would you rather leave out? Team #9/13/17 or team #3?
Team #9/13/17 has less of a case for being allowed to fight for a championship than #3.
