Well, where is your boundary line? Someone/something has to separate the North from the South...hence Virginia. That's why so many battle lines were drawn here.
Next thing you will be saying is south Texas should really be considered Mexico

I think it would benefit the SEC if the Aggies started getting very good, because if they held an annual game versus UT, (like UF vs FSU), it would certainly help SEC vs Big12 perceptions for human polls. For those who don't think this is the issue, lets not forget that even this year, OU started off as #1, so I still think with media involvement the Big 12 basically has to screw up every year for the SEC to get the nod from the media.

Hey Pete, why do you hate me? I don't ever remember having a beef with you. Please enlighten me why you hate me.

Arky should bounce to the Big 12, they would be a powerhouse in the Big 12.

ok...so you're saying the whipping boy in the SEC is Vandy...and people in other conferences acknowledge this, but yet...they don't have a Vandy in their conference....
FOOTBALL:
Big 10 - Indiana, Purdue
Pac 10 - Washington State
Big 12 - Iowa State, Baylor, Kansas until their one and done..
Big East - Syracuse
ACC - Duke, Wake Forrest until recently
These other conferences need to take a look in the mirror before they call out the SEC for having Vanderbilt! I'd take Vandy over any of those...

I agree. Any state north of Tennessee and North Carolina shouldn't be considered a state in the southern portion of the United States, i.e. Virginia, Kentucky, West Virginia, or Maryland.
Yes, Maryland. Believe it or not, Maryland was considered a "southern" state in my 10th grade Geography textbook. Of course, I did go to Walker High School, the jewel of Livingston Parish.

You should refer back to the "Rotate the SEC Championship" thread. I was the "OC."
If you disagree with someone, that's fine. Just say that. None of my points were far-fetched, but you resorted to name calling.
Hope that clears things up.
