Would love to get cooper if possible. Hopefully, he will come home. We could really use the help at ILB

TAMU put some folks on notice of just how good they can be and I think that will have some recruits thinking they could go there and be the "missing piece".

You’re right. One game where everything went their way - 2 pass prayers being answered, JD making a bad read and then fumbling (Emery would still be running if he handed it off) and a PI flag being picked up completely negates a season of turmoil and misery.

They’re losing Achane, a least one QB to the portal, and no telling who else. Go look at their recruiting class - NO skill players.

They are the kings of Next Year.

I've got a feeling some of the Aggies aren't leaving like Jacoby

Weigman is a true frosh just outplayed LSU's 4th year starter. Evan Stewart is a true frosh. Achane had 215 yards rushing, more than the entire LSU team. Don't kid yourself, they are A LOT more talented than LSU.

As I posted in another post, most schools only get about 2 -4 5* players in a recruiting cycle. The past cycle we got 1, Harold Perkins. UGA had 5 and Bama had 3. TAMU took 8! Whereas we pulled in 6 4* players, TAMU pulled in 20. That's 28 players all 5* or 4* players. 28 out of 30. Yes, they underachieved but showed in one game what's possible and a lot of it was young talent.

You missed the entire point. It's not about if we won or not against those former player teams. It shows that through attrition LSU has lost a lot of talent. There are quite a few former players that are playing elsewhere that could be here playing for LSU.

You've literally stated & argued just the opposite in other threads recently.

Just stop supporting LSU and go find another team, problem solved.

Let's go with that belief.

Do you not think guys would also believe that going to a team that finished 5&8 would mean possible immediate playing time?

If Jd comes back, Walker Howard will be sitting 2 years. Just saying.

Right now, NIL deals have more influence than playing immediately.

Fact is TAMU has more talent on their roster. Doesn't change no matter who I support or what argument I make.

Fact also is that while TAMU has underachieved this season, they absolutely punished LSU last night. LSU had EVERYTHING to play for and was severely outcoached and outplayed.

Kirby has amassed even more talent than TAMU but we still have fans running around spouting off how we're going to beat UGA. At least they're not rambling on about us crushing UGA after last night's humble pie.

We probably won't beat UGA

But

There's no doubt we could beat them if we play well.

Aggie found "gold" in a motivated RB and WR that our D couldn't scheme to stop. Add our QB having a rough evening & there's your upset. Arkie game was similar scenario but without the offense.

I heard at one of the Aggie tailgates that 12th man will be entering the portal as well.... Aggies liked that one.
