Hard to believe LSU dropped half a hundred on these clowns last year, even rested the starters the 4th quarter, and in less than a year Aggs are favored by 2 td’s. Dam crazy sh@t right there.

I think the craziest thing is that it's way too low, imo.

Exactly. I’ll be happy with a defense that doesn’t give up 842 explosive plays. Just play sound football and that will be perfect.

If ricks and Stingley play that would be huge, I also think the coaches need to take the training wheels off Finley. Yes he will make mistakes but I think LSU would benefit more.

I'm even passed that, honestly. I fully expect bad busts and I'm not gonna get worked up when it happens as long as they bring the guy down like Saturday. I just want to see effort and hustle. Which I think they've progressively gotten better at.

I’ve got a good feeling about LSU competing in this game. Aggies have some psychological barriers.

I don't think they will. But it's the only reasonable way I see an LSU win. They're just not going to be able to run on A&M. It's not going to happen.

Ricks was ejected in the first half so he’s good to go.

Hopefully Stingley just got his bell rung but they’re so careful about that these days.

I want to see more under center running - we have one of the last true fullbacks in CFB and we need to use him to root out yardage.

As long As we aren’t blowing coverages we have a chance. Mond sucks.

Jimbo doesn't, and he's going to scheme as many easy throws as possible. Y'all can't actually believe A&M is gonna struggle throwing the ball, do you?

Mond has been better this year, but he’s inconsistent when pressed his entire career and has never been known for amazing accuracy. They also don’t run an exotic offensive system either, so I don’t expect tons of exotic looks like you get from Auburn.

This is the game to play zone in the middle and try to send some extra guys and make Mond move around. Keep everything in front of you, make him throw accurately and hope that he makes some mistakes. The two things this defense has been decent at is getting pressure and sacks and creating some turnovers.

This is the part that most are upset with at this point. just hasn't looked like those boys wanted to play up until arkansas.

They run plenty of pre-snap motion. It's not as in your face as Auburn or Missouri, but it has some of the same principles. They are also running a lot more RPOs this year. Jimbo's offense has always been a little more modern than I think he's given credit for, but that's especially true now.

I agree but that's just not going to happen unless there are some breakthroughs in practice. It's going to be a simplified 4-2-5 that primarily runs man. They can't run anything else.

Agreed about the pressure though. I'm at the point where I say frick it and send as much heat as possible. It won't work the majority of the time but there's higher upside and you're going to get carved either way.

Very accurate. Mond is good at times and could pick LSU apart, but he is inconsistent. LSU's D probably has a better chance against their offense than any team left of the schedule. However, State and Mizzou posted 40+ points on us, so any offense can be scary with our pass D.

All true. If we can cut down the number of busts/big plays, it’s not as bad of a matchup as UF and Bama will be. If they don’t jump out early, I think we will make it a game into the 4th.
