The same clowns defending PM after 50+ losses the last two years would be the same types saying Mike Shula should be given more time at Alabama. Or.. you can’t fire Mark Richt because he won the SEC a couple times. Tommy Bowden? Hey, everybody wants to win... not his fault.

Some of you are fine with being just ok because you’re not really winners at heart.

Fact, tRant is filled with people who go to the bar and settle for a 5 at the end of the night. Unlike tOT...

CPM - One natty, played for a second.

Mike Shula - no nattys, never played for one

Mark Richt - no nattys, never played for one

Tommy Bowden - no nattys, never played for one.

Are you people high? Drunk?

Mark Richt was one play away from playing for the natty in 2012; he should’ve gotten a lifetime extension, right?

It doesn't necessarily come down to pure results (or lack thereof) with the Mainieri situation IMHO. His contract is a huge burden to making a change any time soon. I personally have little to no faith in the future of the program under Mainieri but would LSU (or any major athletic program) be willing to eat roughly $5million just to open up the head coach position of a sport which barely turns a profit? That doesn't even account for paying whoever we replace him with. Bottom line is he's not going anywhere this offseason (or next offseason, probably) unless he just steps away and he and LSU are able to settle his contract in some way.
