Especially considering HE'S NOT A QB! He's a guy they tried to make into a QB and failed miserably and kept trying when it was obvious it wasn't going to work and then failed miserably again.

Honestly I don't like piling on. Almost everybody except Les Miles has figured out he isn't a very good quarterback except maybe when he was in high school. Just let it go and leave JJ alone.

1) Even during Lees interception plagued rookie year, LSU had the 53rd ranked offense. 3 of the 4 losses were against teams ranked #1 during the year, and Lee overcame his problem and currently has the 2nd longest streak without a pick in LSU history; better than YA Tittle, Bert Jones, Woodley, JR, Mauck , Flynn, Hodson, etc
2) Lee, using the same players, led us to 7 wins against 4 ranked teams, and was the SECs most efficient passer, and named to ESPNs 1st team all-senior team. All the while having a scoring offense that ranked in the 20s.
3) Had Miles displayed the same confidence in Lee that he afforded JJ, Lee conceivably been much more successful
4) Les had JJ for 4 years and never felt the need to bring in a big chested QB during those long, painful years
So yeah, there were other options. Miles just ignored them. Therefore, this criticism is more on Miles than JJ. Jeffersons attitude was a direct reflection of Miles bizarre offensive philosophy since '08

If he would just get it through his head he was a great high school QB but he'd be a legit WR in the Pro's if he would focus on that.

Face, JJ was never a fan favorite. He did little to enamor himself to the faithful. He sulked, he pouted and, more often than not, he stunk it up on the field.
However, more than his performance, it was his demeanor that made created the antipathy towards JJ.
He's dead to many of us.

My biggest problem with JJ wasn't his play. Lee wasn't very good either most of his time here... But one guy took responsibility and the other pouted and pushed the blame on someone else
