So it seems the players feel the same way as 95+% of us on tRant about the quarterback situation...

Dear sweet baby Jesus, how bad must Hayden Rettig and Stephen Rivers been to not even be competitive in this competition last year?

There's absolutely no excuse for not inserting Lee and giving him a shot. JJ clearly wasn't getting it done (44 plays -92 yards)
Or would you have pulled Jefferson out after the third quarter when Jefferson had completed over 75% of his pass attempts?
The problem was NOT with Jefferson. The problem was that the o-line was not blocking. LSU gained 39 yards rushing for the entire game, and LSU had rushed better with Jefferson as the QB for the year.
Jefferson had led comebacks in the three previous HUGE games. LSU was losing to Alabama (GOTC), Arkansas (#3), and Georgia (SECCG) at or just a few minutes before the half in all three games. Jefferson led the team to victory. It made sense to stick with the QB who led comebacks.
