Actually, the game last night was exactly what we needed. CK was right.

My response to the game was entirely different from last year as last year I wanted to destroy the TV over the play. But, this year, just knowing our defense is elite, it was just a matter of time before the Tigers pulled away. So, very different from last year.
With that being said, the team did seem to buy into the hype (ate the rat poison) about how good they are. Well, the DEFENSE is that good, but the offense is still a work in progress. They have to protect the ball, and I am glad they realize now the game could have easily been lost to a better team with all the turnovers. But, I also know Leavitt did not have a full spring and will only get better. I also know that it appears Clark seems to be poised and a good athlete behind him.
I love the position we're in. The team was going to be focused any way on Ole Miss, but now with the 1st half woes, many are now doubting the Tigers. I think Lane will have this team ready and will play well for this game. Can our defense slow down Ole Miss? I like our chances. Can the offense now play with that chip on their shoulder again? I also like that chance.
As I said, I think we're in a great position...we have a coach who will make adjustments, not like in the past.
